Time to reflect on 2020...
As 2020 is drawing to a close and the last official day in clinic is DONE, I wanted to take the opportunity to reflect - as I am sure many of you are doing. We all know this year has not been the easiest but I feel SO grateful to be able to say I am one of the lucky ones.
I had to stop dead in my tracks and close my new business after just 7.5 months open, without knowing when, if ever, we could open our doors again. I was also one of the few that fell in the cracks of the government scheme, leaving LHRehab without a safety blanket.
I am so lucky and extremely grateful that my sister, mum, dad and WONDERFUL fiance Ben believed in me and felt I was worth helping out. I wrote a similar post at the end of 2019 stating how I thought 2020 was going to be a BIG year - little did I know....
In many ways it was:
We met our first milestone - 100 clients! (Actually 147 now to be precise)
We introduced Acupuncture & Dry needling
We started accepting card payments
We bounced back after a global pandemic... my little business SURVIVED.
I am well aware that at this point of time, officially, it is only me that works at LHRehab. However I feel like every single client I have treated, every friend, every family member is right behind me & as much a contributor to its success as me - hence why I am always saying 'we'. I will never take that for granted. Every single recommendation or review has changed my life.
Honestly thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for believing in me & choosing me to help you. You're helping with my dream & I promise to help with yours. Whether that's fixing you for a race or competition, or getting you to leave with a smile on your face - I promise to always try my absolute best.
Moving forward, I will be holding my nearest and dearest as close as possible (even my baby niece Emilia will no longer be at arm's length!) & working on myself. I am going to (try) and be confident in my little - ever growing - business and my own ability to keep building it to be the best it possibly can be.
When we reopen in January you will see that we have been very busy over christmas bettering the clinic itself - as for 2021 - the focus is on me & how I can better myself in order to help you!
I am planning on taking a mobilisation & manipulation course (if covid allows), shoulder masterclass, hip and groin masterclass & also saving time to do my own reading and revision.
I hope you all have the most wonderful christmas with your small bubble of people.
See you at the start of a better & brighter year.
MERRY CHRISTMAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR (and a very very big thank you)
